HOLIDAY IN THE PARK

What a night to remember!  The streets are adorned with festive attired local residents, tourists -- young and old -- all eagerly awaiting the holiday parade consisting of decorated floats, marching bands, scouts, etc.  Throughout the parade participants will be throwing beads and candy to the onlookers. After the parade, families will gather in the Park for more festive enjoyment.

Holiday in the Park this year is Saturday, December 5, 2009.

Project Graduation Volunteers help stage the floats and vehicles for the Holiday in the Park parade.  Volunteers need to be at their designated staging area (Kroger's Kilgore's Hardware, or the Church) at 4:30 pm.  The parade starts at 6:30 pm.  Volunteers should be finished by 7:30 pm and are welcome to follow the end of the parade to League Park.

In the past, the League City Proud Organization has made a donation to the Project Graduation Party for the volunteers helping with the parade.  Please let Mindy Greenleaf know if you are available to help with the parade.  We need 15 volunteers.
